Grinnell-in-Grinnell Summer Picnic
Leslie Bleichner ’07, Rachel Bly ’93, Rachel Edwards Harvith ’00, Sarah Purcell ’92, and the Office of Development and Alumni Relations invite all members of the Grinnell community and their families to the Grinnell-in-Grinnell summer picnic.

All members of the Grinnell Community — alumni, current students, incoming new students, family members, and friends — are welcome at summer picnics.

After the picnic, attendees are invited to stay at Central Park and enjoy the music of The Jury, a blues/rock band from Des Moines. The Jury’s concert is sponsored by Grinnell College and is open to the community.
The Jury plays all original blues/rock music and they are steeped in experience and in Iowa music history. Each member of The Jury has played for decades and one of the bandmates (Rick White) is a member of the Iowa Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.

COVID Precautions: All summer picnics must follow any local COVID-restrictions and guidelines. Due to potential pandemic-related changes, we retain the right to cancel the event for any reason.
