This three-session class is for youth aged 11 – 17 who are interested in learning to sew! We will cover the very basics of machine sewing: machine setup, use of sewing tools and basic techniques of sewing. Our goal for this class is to become comfortable with the sewing machine, introduce a basic garment pattern and complete a simple project.

All materials will be supplied, including The Act of Sewing book by Sonya Philip.

Cancellation policy: Registrants may cancel their enrollment 48 hours (2 days) before a class begins for a refund or credit. After this deadline, no refund or credit is available. GAAC/The Stew reserves the right to cancel classes due to a minimum enrollment not being met.
